The new Mbombela soccer stadium will be the first soccer stadium built of international standards for the province and the stadium will host its first big matches during the World Cup.

The soccer stadium is quite central and will be close to Kruger-Mpumalanga Airport, the city centre as well as the world renowned Kruger National Park game reserve.

The Nelspruit, Mbombela soccer stadium will be able to hold the capacity of 46,000 supporters and will be complete in May 2009.
