Over the last week, Cape Town has been buzzing with excitement as everyone’s been preparing for the FIFA 2010 World Cup Final Draw.
The good times officially started at noon on Friday 4 December 2009 with a street party on Cape Town’s legendary Long Street. Live performances, street stalls, and vuvuzela-armed revellers descended on the vibey street to make this Final Draw the best one yet.
While millions watched it at home around the world, thousands cheered and danced as the Draw was broadcast live on massive screens up and down ol’ Long Street. In a word: brilliant!
But if you missed the draw, no worries – we were right there all along.
