Stand-up comedy at its best, at the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town with the 2008 edition of Vodacom Funny Festival
The award-winning Vodacom Funny Festival returns to the Baxter Theatre in Cape Town, presenting stand-up comedy from some of the best local and international performers.
The 2008 edition is hosted by Cape Town born stand-up comedian Marc Lottering and features fellow South African standup comedians such as Riaad Moosa, Chris Forrest, Xhosa speaking & Jewish South African Nik Rabinowitz and Ndumiso Lindi.
UK standup comedians Les Bubb and Madame Galina are also on the bill to bring the best of laughs on stage.
This year, The Vodacom Funny Festival also spreads its wings into Cape Town’s townships, with three free lunchtime comedy shows in Gugulethu, Khayelitsha and Mitchell’s Plain on 22, 29 June and 6 July.
