Christmas Eve Lunch at the Cape Farmhouse
This Christmas let your children run around on this picturesque farm while enjoying home-made food at the Cape Farmhouse Restaurant
The Cape Farmhouse Restaurant is a family-run restaurant, en-route to the Cape Point Nature reserve.
Situated in a sheltered valley and surrounded by old oak trees, this 250-year-old farmhouse offers relaxing al fresco dining outside or if the weather is unpleasant, indoors in the historic old farm building.
Cape Farmhouse’s lunchtime menu is Africa-inspired and redolent of the tastes, spices and herbs of Morocco and through to the Cape itself.
With as much of their produce as possible gathered from their own organic vegetable gardens.
The Cape Farmhouse Christmas Eve Lunch menu:
Starters:
Pan fried savoury pork fritters on an organic rocket and watercress salad
Or:
Strawberry and goats cheese salad
Or:
Prawn samoosas with relish and chutney
Main courses:
Slow roasted duck with spicy apricot and ginger sauce with cous cous and stir-fried vegetables
Or:
Bacon wrapped turkey with cranberry dressing and hassleback potatoes
Or:
Pork fillet with a port jus and baby vegetables
Or:
Samp and sweet potato rosti with roasted vegetables, Rocket & Feta
Dessert:
Trifle with real Italian ice cream
Or:
Summer crumble with Italian sorbet
Sounds like a perfect Christmas!
