Kids will have a blast at the music festivals dedicated kids area while parents rock out to the live music
With live music, markets, food stalls, thrill rides, and beer tents Houtstok Afrikaanse Musiek Fees promises to be fun for the whole family.
And now, with the TygerBear Foundation on board with the festival, it promises to be even more fun for little ones looking for a place to play with fellow tots as well as for parents looking for a little time to themselves.
The Cape Town Afrikaans music festival will take place on Diep Rivier Farm in Malmesbury and promises to provide a weekend choc-full of activities for the whole family. Whether you’re a musiek loving tannie, a pop princess pre-teen or a beer and sports loving oke, there will be something for you at Houtstok.
During the music festival the TygerBear Foundation will provide entertainment and education through their various Edutainment programs. The children’s facility will offer interactive entertainment in an appropriately equipped and child friendly environment where your child will feel special, safe and cared for.
If you are concerned about your children during the event, Teddy Town is the ideal place for them to play and learn while you enjoy the rest of the event. Teddy Town will take your child on a magical journey, introducing them to fun filled adventures, fantasy and new experiences. For your complete peace of mind The TygerBear team includes registered social workers, psychology interns and trained child minders.
Teddy Town consists of:
Gazebo’s
o Large Marquis Tent – age group 3-12yrs
o Baby & Toddler Tent – age group 0-3yrs staffed by pediatric nurses
Practical Support for Baby Tent:
o Baby Camping Cots / Carry Cots
o Nappy changing area
o Anything that a baby/child may need for example from a baby blanket to a soft toy to cuddle
Fully equipped mobile office:
o Computer
o Mobile Phone
o Administration Service

The Baby Tent will have everything a parent and baby needs to make sure your baby is as comfortable as possible during the event.
The daily Teddy Town program for children age 3-12 years will include many fun activities to keep little minds entertained.
