Human Rights Day in Darling
Celebrate your rights by building your very own box car and racing it!
Darling is a vibrant place, a harmonious blend of old and new. The tranquillity of the village with its rural atmosphere inspires the many creative souls who live there.
On Human Rights Day, thrill seekers are invited to build their own cart and race down a hill in Darling. There will be big carts, small carts, stable carts and even those that look like they’ll fall apart any second!
Trophies will be given to the carts that stay mobile the longest, and every single entrant will get a prize.
This event is a fundraiser for The Darling Trust, the Swartland and West Coast SPCA and Darling’s old age home, Groeneweide.
There will also be amazing stalls to browse through, so this is a day for the whole family.
