Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts in December 2008

Catch some of SA's top musicians every Sunday at Kirstenbosch this December

Catch the likes of Freshlyground, Just Jinjer, Shaun Morgan and more every Sunday in December 2008 as part of the summer concert series at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in Cape Town.

The Kirstenbosch summer concerts, which run until April, have become synonymous with every Cape Town summer, and have a special feel to them mainly due to the breathtaking setting. Part of the charm also lies in the warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with concert-goers picnicking on the soft grass banks that slope downwards towards the stage.

While waiting for the concert to begin, take in the beautiful surroundings of the world famous garden and soak up the gentle late afternoon sun rays.

Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts December Line-up:

7 December – Freshlyground*
11 – 14 December – Carols by Candlelight*
21 December – Just Jinjer*
28 December – Seether – Shaun Morgan*
31 December - 94.5 Kfm & Drostdy-Hof New Year’s Eve Concert

*The Carols by Candlelight on the 11-14 December is presented by the Rotary Club of Kirstenbosch and is proudly sponsored by Pick 'n Pay.

Tickets for Carols by Candlelight on the 11 December 2008 will be R40 for adults and R20 for children respectively.

Tickets for the the other days for Carols by Candlelight which is sponsored by Pick 'n Pay will be R50 for adults and R30 for children.
