Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts in February 2009
The Kirstenbosch Sunset Concerts are a fantastic way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Cape Town
Catch the likes of The Parlotones, Arno Carstens, The Johnny Cooper Orchestra and the Cape Philharmonic Orhcestra every Sunday in February 2009 as part of the summer concert series at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in Cape Town.
The Kirstenbosch summer concerts, which run until April, have become synonymous with every Cape Town summer, and have a special feel to them mainly due to the breathtaking setting. Part of the charm also lies in the warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with concert-goers picnicking on the soft grass banks that slope downwards towards the stage.
While waiting for the concert to begin, take in the beautiful surroundings of the world famous garden and soak up the gentle late afternoon sun rays.
