Matches Cape Town FIFA 2010

Cape Town featuring awesome games in the most scenically situated stadium of the 2010 World Cup

The city of Cape Town, otherwise known as the Mother City, is found in the Western Cape Province, being a top tourist destination for its beautiful beaches and picture perfect scenery will certainly be a great place to watch the 2010 games.

Cape Town will host six first round game fixtures during the FIFA 2010 Soccer World Cup: one second round game and one quarter final game will be hosted at the Cape Town Stadium - formerly known as the Greenpoint Stadium.

The 2010 Soccer World Cup stadium is placed along Cape Town’s gorgeous Atlantic Seaboard coastline between Mouille Point, The V&A Waterfront and Greenpoint and was specially built for the soccer games played in Cape Town during the 2010 World Cup, with a capacity to hold 70 000 roaring supporters.

Construction of the new stadium was finished in time for its deadline date of December 2009 and tested during successful events in February and March 2010.

After the Final Draw on 4 December we created the overview of the soccer games played in Cape Town during the FIFA 2010 World Cup in South Africa this June.
