Eric Zwiebel was born and raised in France and from an early age discovered his love of wines.
He was awarded third place in the Best Sommelier of Europe Competition 2006 and was runner-up in the Ruinart Best Sommelier in the World Competition in 2007.
In January he will be visiting the Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa and together with Luvo Ntezo (the Twelve Apostles’ award-winning sommelier, who is highly regarded throughout South Africa) will host five exceptional wine dinners in the hotel’s Azure Restaurant.
Each of the five courses will be accompanied by a world-class remarkable vintage that Eric and Luvo have selected to perfectly complement that particular dish.
Each of these dishes will be carefully selected and prepared by the head chef, Roberto de Carvalho.
