GrandWest CSI, that’s Corporate Social Responsibility (just to avoid getting them confused with Horatio Caine and his crime fighting team on telly) presents the Women’s Day Annual Market this August in Cape Town.
The market is the brainchild of the Women in Business initiative and provides a platform for over 35 female small business enterprises to exhibit their wares.
Think children’s books, furniture to jackets, hand-made bags, accessories, crafted trays, pottery, painted fabrics, African sandals, innovative recycled products, vintage wear, home goods and array of awesome stuff in between.
If it’s not only your shopping bags you are looking to fill up there will also be delicious food and wine on sale from wine to cupcakes, chocolates and even health foods and smoothies – because dehydration during spending sprees are well documented to be disastrous. Also you can treat yourself to getting a manicure, pedicure, and/or head and hand massages.
“As an established company we can be a catalyst for sustainable empowerment. In providing this platform we are hopefully helping today’s small business owners to become tomorrow’s employers.” -GrandWest CSI
