Absa Cape Epic 2012

The toughest of the tough


The 2012 Absa Cape Epic takes place from Sunday 25 March to Sunday 1 April. The 2012 Absa Cape Epic is held over 8 days and includes a time-trial prologue. Bikers world round are keen to see what’s in store for the biggest mountain bike stage race on the planet right here in Cape Town. 2012 is an exciting year for the competition seeing a change in logo and Craft as the new apparel sponsor.

This year’s route will be as demanding as the previous year with 781km travelled in total with 16300m of climbing from Meerendal Wine Estate to the Lourensford Wine Estate.
