Boomerang New Year's Eve Party

CANCELLED: This annual NYE jol will not take place this year

Cape Town’s beloved Boomerang New Year’s Eve Party has been cancelled.

Due to mitigating circumstances, the event – it was scheduled to take place from Wednesday, 31 December 2014 until Friday, 2 January 2015 – will not be taking place this year. 

According to the organisers’ Facebook page “It is with great regret that we have to announce that there will be no NYE Boomerang Festival this year. We were unable to secure a venue in time and therefore had to make the decision to take a break this year – for the first time in 7 years since the first NYE Boomerang festival back in 2008.

This is by no means a final halt of the festival and we will be back with a vengeance next year, with a killer new venue to boast!”
