Boswell Wilkie Circus

Ahoy Mateys - Come and enjoy the internationally acclaimed Boswell Wilkie Circus' production of Pirates

Audiences will encounter swashbuckling pirates, musketeers and mermaids all climbing, dangling, swinging and generally flying about with breathtaking agility.

The action takes place aboard a replica of a 17th century tall mast wooden ship - the Jollie Mollie - floating in a moat of water. Creative lighting, sound and special effects will complete the effect. The ship and moat will be constructed in the centre of the Arena and surrounded by audience seating.

A motley crew of seafaring characters will transport children and parents alike into the fantasy world of pirates with sword fights, gun battles, a myriad of somersaults and other high wire trapeze action.

The show comes to South Africa from Bahrain where it attracted a capacity crowd of 25 000 a day during December 2008.
