The Swartland Wine Route is celebrating 350 years of wine making in the Cape with a special event at the Allesveloren Wine Estate
The Swartland Wine Route invites you to a celebration of the 350th anniversary of wine making in the Cape, with an enchanted evening affair at the historic Allesveloren Wine Estate in Riebeek West on 31 January 2009.
Come and enjoy delicious dishes reminiscent of the past accompanied by the best wines in the Swartland. Duo Lizette le Roux (cello) and Emrie de Klerk (violin) will enchant you with the fresh acoustic sounds of their classical instruments.
There will be a performance by the Riebeek Valley community theatre group, depicting the history of wine in the Cape, which will add a special touch to the event.
