The 2008 Christmas Lunch menu at On the Rocks:
Amuse Bouche: Potato rosti topped with a prawn Tempura and a sweet cucumber relish drizzled with a Balsamic and Soy reduction.
Starters: Dried apricot, raspberry, brie cheese and walnut pocket of phyllo pastry, served on a bed of Singapore stir-fried greens infused with a granadilla coulis.
Main Course: Chicken wrapped in bacon stuffed with turkey mince, marble glazed gammon and an apple sauce, served with pommes de terre tournée OR A duo of pineapple-glazed gammon and deboned leg of lamb coated with a mint and red wine jus, accompanied by potato Tartan.
All main courses are served with a tour de legumes and asparagus
Desserts: Duo of coconut tart and sticky Christmas pudding served with a berry compote, mint and Crème Anglaise.
Traditional mince pies and delicious truffles will be served with coffee or tea.
