Celebrate a Grand Christmas Day in 2008 with a splendid lunch at the Grande Provence in Franschhoek

While the 18th Century Manor House and The Owner’s Cottage reflect their Huguenot heritage, The Restaurant and wine-tasting area of Grande Provence project a chic industrial presence.

Leading off The Restaurant is the welcoming wine-tasting area. The bar dominates the centre of the room - striking in galvanised steel with black strapping.

A touch of fun is evident with the tractor seat bar stools, while a fireplace and upholstered chairs soften the perimeter of the room, inviting guests to sit back and savor every sip.

12:30 - Family-style three course lunch accompanied by the fun of pulling Christmas crackers and the presentation of the GP gourmet gift.

18:30 onwards - Live music and Marimba Vibrations

Marinated mushrooms and artichokes, Grilled vegetables with tyme, Grilled calamari salad, Prawn beignettes with chilli, Game Ballotine with gribiche, Charcuterie board and Breads.

Main:

A choice of: Roast turkey and beef OR Seasonal fish and prawns OR Assiette of vegetables (vegetarian) accompanied by a choice of the following: Sweet potatoes OR Melanzane OR Potato dauphinoise OR Sauteed mushrooms OR Turkey stuffing OR Cranberry sauce and Gravy.

Desserts:
