Kingsley Holgate has just concluded his most recent feat - the Boundless Southern Africa Expedition - which took him across nine countries in Southern Africa.

The 15,500 km coast to coast journey took 120 days and linked seven transfrontier conservation areas, more than 30 national parks | nature reserves and more importantly, the communities that live in and alongside these wildlife areas. It was all about nature, culture and community.

Holgates book, Afrika: Dispatches From the Outside Edge, showcases his deep passion for exploration and love of Africa. Find a comfortable armchair and share this fantastic journey with Kingsley and his team, and be inspired by the efforts of one family to save and improve lives in Africa.

Kingsley Holgate’s film documentary showcases a modern-day explorer who manages to find his way into the nooks and crannies seldom visited by any but the most persevering adventurer. A family man, his journeys are shared with his wife and son and a tight circle of friends.

Bring your mountain bike or go kayaking on the dam. Children under 12 are free and can enjoy activities such as wall climbing and a jumping castle.

After Kingley’s talk and film, fires will be ready for a bring-and-braai with Kingsley.

Food stalls will provide refreshments and cold drinks until 18:00.
