Popular South African singer Robbie Wessels will be performing for one night only at Die Watergat in Wellington on Friday 23 October 2009.
Proceeds from the show will go towards the establishment of a new theatre, as well as a dance, drama, and music school in Durbanville.
Robbie will be entertaining the lang-arm crowd with old favourites, as well as introducing songs from his latest album Afrika Sonsak.
The album includes tracks like South African rugby anthem Player 23, the hilarious Liewe Ouers, as well as the more soulful Halleluja om die Vuur and Is daar sein in die Hemel.
This is Robbie’s first show in Wellington, and also the last performance in the Cape for the next eight months.
