Joe Jackson brings his "Rain" tour to Cape Town
Legendary British musician Joe Jackson will perform in Cape Town on Saturday, 7 June at Grand West’s Grand Arena.
Jackson will be best remembered for 80’s classics such as Is she really going out with him, Fools in love and Sunday Papers.
The Cape Town show forms part of a world tour to promote Jackson’s new album ‘Rain’.
The album, recorded in Berlin and mixed in New York, features Joe Jackson on piano and vocals with the rhythm section of the original Joe Jackson Band - Graham Maby on bass and vocals and Dave Houghton on drums and vocals.
Jackson was recently awarded a Fellowship by the Royal Academy of Music and an Honorary Doctorate by the University of Portsmouth.
In addition to his new album and world tour, he has also been involved with theatre projects.
