A press conference to present the theatrical motion picture, “More Than Just a Game”, a story about the former prisoners of Robben Island who created an organised football association called the Makana FA which adhered strictly to the FIFA Statutes in order to rise above their incarceration, will be held on 17 July 2007 in the Nelson Mandela Gateway in The V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.

Attending the "More Then Just a Game" press conference will be producer of the film Anant Singh, director Junaid Ahmed, lead actor Presley Chwengeyagae (the Oscar winning South African film production Tsotsi) and several of the former inmates, as well as the Delegate of the FIFA President Jérôme Champagne.
An exclusive promo clip of “More Than Just a Game” will be presented at the event as the first screening to any audience in the world. The film will premiere in November of this year.
This presentation if the South African soccer movie coincides with the celebration of the “90 Minutes for Mandela ” match that will be held on 18 July at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town, on the same day that the Makana FA will be granted Honorary Membership of FIFA during a ceremony in Robben Island.
