Its official ladies and gentlemen – the 2009 MCQP Theme was launched on the 19 September at the Crew Bar in Green point and this time they have hit the nail on the head.

On the 19th of December, Cape Town’s Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock will be the perfect setting for this year’s MCQP.
Whether it’s Bob the Builder, Handy Man, Jack Hammer or just a bunch of nails, this year it’s all about The Toolbox.
MCQP is one of the most anticipated Gay and Lesbian events of the year, gathering people from all over the world, from all walks of life.
Tips and Tricks for this year’s MCQP Party:
BMW – Bring Money With - and please take care to secure your wallets, phones and cameras into your costume to ensure that you still have it afterwards!
SSSSH - There will be a covert after party for the 2009 MCQP this year - in a different secret location from 3am - 9am! The MCQP after party is for only 500 people! But you are going to have to work hard to find out where...
Early bird tickets are on sale NOW at 3 venues in Cape Town until 8th November. These early bird tickets are only available for a week, so get down to cafe Manhattan in Sea point or Greenpiont or go to Crewbar, and get those tickets now.
Early bird prices are R180 for regular and R380 for VIP.
VIP's get fast track entrance, a VIP lounge and bar, preferential parking, VIP drinks and snackies plus free after party entrance.
On Monday 9th November, ticket prices go up to R220 and R400 for VIP.
Tickets will then be on sale in all the regular annual-ticket selling outlets and shops, plus computicket.
Artist line ups will be released soon, but here are a few sneak snippets: Japans Nr.1 DJ Osashi, Sydney's duo Troy Cox & Colin Jowell and Red Richards from Minneapolis are packing their bags for a trip to Cape Town.
