94.5 Kfm presents a brand new comedy show, Mind The Gap, taking place at the Grand Arena at the Grand West Casino on 10 June 2009.

Mind The Gap will be Mc’d by the slick and sexy Kim Engelbrecht and will feature some of the countries finest comedians including Joey Rasdien, Kurt Schoonraad, Chris Forrest, Ntosh, Ndumiso Lindi and some exciting newcomers.

Joey Rasdien is the epitome of South African comedy today. His endearing stage persona is intellectually absurd and physically hysterical. This belies his other profession… high-level fund management and financial advising.

Cape Town’s very own Kurt Schoonraad is a real South African “boytjie” in every way. He has grown in leaps and bounds since he appeared on the comedy circuit and is now one of the most popular and requested comedians in South Africa (that’s his story and he is sticking to it).

Another popular Capetonian on the bill is funny man Ndumiso Lindi. Known for his trade mark hat, funky urban style and brilliant impersonation of the Madiba Jive, Ndumiso Lindi is regarded as one of South Africa’s top comedians.

An entertainer with flair, Ndumiso tickles the funnybone with his honest observations of everyday life in South Africa and the diversity of South African cultures.

Chris Forrest speaks slowly, but he thinks fast. Some call him South Africa's answer to Steven Wright, others say, who is Steven Wright, whilst others say, we're out of milk can you please pick some up on your way home.

The deadpan face of South African comedy, Chris Forrest has been on the forefront of South Africa's comedy scene for close to ten years now. His trademark dry sense of humour has made him one of the country's most popular comedians and ensured that audiences are left in stitches wherever he goes.

Ntosh’s fresh brand of in-your-face, laissez faire humour has found favour at various venues around Gauteng and he has featured, to great acclaim, in theatre shows such as Blacks Only, Heavyweight Comedy Jam, Tshwane Comedy Festival and the 90% Xhosa Comedy Festival.
