Enjoy a safe, fun-filled evening walking on the beautiful Muizenberg Blue Flag beach in the light of the full moon on Saturday, 14 January 2017. This will be the first walk taking place in 2017, and the series will continue throughout the year in partnership with the Muizenberg Precinct Neighbourhood Watch Association.
Meet at the Safer Together table in front of Knead Bakery at Surfer’s Corner on Beach Road, Muizenberg at 6pm. The walk starts at 6:15pm on the corner in front of the bakery, which stays open especially for Meander Saturday evenings. There is ample parking for participants, and roaming car guards will be on duty. Alcohol is not permitted on the beach, but dogs are welcome provided they are on leashes.
Looking for a family-friendly event to add to any calendar? Diarise these upcoming dates for the Moonlight Meander and bring the whole family along for a fun-filled evening under the stars.
UPCOMING DATES FOR THE 2017 MOONLIGHT MEANDERS IN MUIZENBERG
Participation is free, but as this is a Safer Together fundraising initiative, donations will be most welcome. Candles will be on sale for a minimum donation of R5 in aid of supplying torches for neighbourhood watches.
