A seasonal guide to West Coast Private ...
Flowers in spring, whales in summer and wildlife all year
The Festival, sponsored for the first time this year by Nando's, has become a major highlight on the Cape Town social calendar, and has played to sold-out houses and presented over 160 international acts and every professional South African comedian.
Over the past 12 years, the Cape Town Comedy Festival has reached well over 100,000 audience members, placing it firmly amongst the top 5 comedy events in the world.
The Cape Town Comedy Festival will celebrate its 13th anniversary in 2009, and will once again bring the world's hottest comedy acts to the Mother City.
Comedy favourites like Angelo Tsarouchas from Canada and Kira Soltanovich from the USA will join the best comedy acts from around the globe, including South Africa's favourite entertainers.
By incorporating a number of unique features with separate programmes, the Festival endeavours to cater for everyone's taste and to present an international 'festival' in the true sense of the word.
