Open Gardens charity day with Cellars Hohenort Hotel
Join the Cellars Hohenort Hotel for their Annual Open Garden in aid of St Luke's Hospice
Amble through these spectacular gardens and delight in tea and scones on the veranda. Doors open from 10h00 – 16h00. All funds raised through ticket sales during this weekend will go towards the cost of caring for St Luke’s Hospice patients.
St Luke’s Hospice serves a population of about 3 500 000 people in the greater Cape Town area. More than a quarter of the patients are between the ages of 20 and 35.
The aim of St Luke’s Hospice is to enable the terminally ill patients to live their live with dignity and as pain free as possible. Hospices focus on care, not cure, concentrating on the person and not the illness.
The service is provided at no cost to the patient so they rely heavily on donors, volunteers and fundraisers.
