Cape Town just can’t get enough of Roxette and vice versa so it’s a win-win situation that the Swedish pop-rock duo is coming for a second South African tour in just as many years. On Friday the 8th of June Roxette will be performing live in concert at the Grand Arena, Grand West in Cape Town.
Roxette, the Swedish duo of Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle, are a seductive mix of romantic ballads and smart pop with tongue-in-cheek lyrics. Starting up in the late `80s, their mission was to conquer the world with chart-bursting singles by merging their creative forces - Per had the songs, Marie had the killer voice. Together they would go places, see people and win the cheers of millions of fans throughout the world.
