Layered pancake stack with berries, bacon and Brie drizzled with berry sauce... Still need convincing that Rcaffé is the best choice for a Saturday brunch? How about this: ‘salmon penne pasta with a dash of cream, roasted butternut, sage, fresh basil, pumpkin seeds and Parmesan cheese’. Plus they make an extremely good cup of coffee.
Stop by in the morning to read the paper and catch their croissants while they’re still warm from the oven (the Parmesan and bacon one is a winner, but they come in an assortment of interesting flavours so sample some of the others before choosing your favourite). The Eggs Benedict is made from scratch as they’re ordered with either bacon or smoked salmon – they can also make up a vegetarian option.
Rcaffé is a Wifi hotspot so if you want to catch up on your reading then bring your laptop along or catch up with friends over lunch. Choose something from the extensive menu or take advantage of one of the two fantastic lunch specials that they’re offering at the moment. The chicken schnitzel is only R49 and the delicious 200g Karan beef sirloin steak is just R59. Both meals come with a side order of your choice and are prepared from scratch.
