Those of you in the know may be aware that Cape Town has a new addition to its offering of upmarket clubs that rocks Cape Town.

This club has fast become the chic party hotspot of note.

Chevelle is situated in Cape Town’s up-and-coming East City, on Harrington Street off Buitenkant Street.


Every Saturday night Chelleve will bring you Submission Saturdays, with a line-up that you will not want to miss.  This Saturday Chevelle is welcoming She Man Lion.

She Man Lion is a Cape Town based band who has been collaborating since 2005. The five-piece band has an experimental and often naïve approach to music, which has yielded a highly original energetic sound.

From simple beginnings She Man Lion has snowballed into a dance-floor fusion of indie rock, dance, electro, thrash and disco.
