Soccerex 2008

Soccerex 2008 South Africa Bringing the World of Football Together

Over the years, the Soccerex exhibition arena has proved to be an unparalleled success, allowing companies to schedule meetings and promote their services to the global football industry.

In November 2008, the Soccerex Conference will once again address the biggest issues affecting the global game.

The opening day of Soccerex offers a 1 day football extravaganza, to be enjoyed by attendees and consumers alike before the serious business begins off the pitch.

A three-day programme of debate and discussion will run throughout the convention, involving an impressive array of talent, from the beautiful game's famous faces, to the world's most senior business executives.

Clubs, federations and sponsors from all over the world convene to present their business ideas and commercial strategies to a global audience, while the workshops ran by industry experts provide an invaluable insight into the game's most successful companies.

The social highlight of the convention is the Soccerex Gala Dinner, a glittering hospitality event where individual achievements are recognised by the world of football.

Soccerex 2007's Gala Dinner was attended by 2,000 delegates, VIP's and some of the game's living legends, providing the perfect occasion to network, socialise and unwind in a luxurious setting.

Taking place on November 25th, the evening will be choreographed to provide high energy entertainment, including an award-winning spectacular floor show, local dance genres, live music and unique South African hospitality:

  • 5 Star cuisine and fine wines
  • Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra
  • Mime artists
  • Performance by a choral ensemble
  • Explosive dance sequences
  • Opera singers performing live
  • Gumboot dancing 'meets the classics'
  • Prestigious Soccerex merit awards
