Sound Squad New Year's Revolutions

Why party indoors when this New Year's Eve outdoor electronic festival in Cape Town is on offer

For their fourth festival, the Sound Squad is planning a major event to better anything else that has been done in South Africa to date in terms of electronic music.

The sound for the main stage has more than doubled and the previous chill-out stage has now become a true alternative to the main stage, and it’s definitely not going to be chilled. The second floor this year will boast the sound setup of the previous festival’s main stage.

The event will host more than 60 local and international artists, many of them at the top of their game. Apart from this there will also be allocated sets to up-and-coming artists.

Things to bring:

• sunblock, umbrella, hats / sun stuff
• tents, bedding, chairs, sleeping bags, blankets to sit on
• swimming stuff, lilo‘s
• instruments - guitars, drums, etc
• toilet paper, garbage bags
• torch
• frisbees, hackisacks, balls, kites, etc.
• camera
• insect repellant
• money for cash bar and food stalls
