Fundraising Party for the World Muaythai Cup at Chevelle
Dragon Power - along with Chevelle - is hosting a fundraiser for the South African Muaythai Team for the World Muaythai Cup this November| December.
Expect a phenomenal electro and hip hop night, with a DJ line up including Hip Hop DJ Tariq Kan , LilPhil, eMou and lee & Talor.
Chevelle will be giving away shooters all night long.
This year the South African Amateur Muaythai Team, consisting of twelve athletes, coaches and managers will be competing in the World Muaythai Championships in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Championships will serve dually as part of the celebrations of His Majesty The King of Thailand's 82nd Birthday, and as the selection process for the World Martial Arts Games 2010 in Beijing, China.
In order for the South African Muaythai Team to go to Thailand this year, an approximate amount of R240 000 is needed.
By assisting with any amount of sponsorship, you will be giving competitors an opportunity to compete with some of the best fighters in the world.
This would allow them to come back to South Africa with a better knowledge of competing and instructing.
In turn they plan to give back to and develop Muaythai Against Drugs in South Africa to combat against drugs like Tik, and getting more kids off the street and living a healthy and drug free life.
All Proceeds will go to the SA Muaythai Team Fundraising Campaign to represent SA at the World Muaythai Cup.
