Spier Arts present Princess Magogo ka Dinuzulu
Performing at Spier on the 24 - 26th February is Princess Magogo ka Dinuzulu, the true story of the noble Princess of the Zulu nation
This opera is based on the true story of the noble Princess of the Zulu nation, Princess Magogo, whose musical gifts inspired and uplifted her people through the tumultuous early 20th century.
Music composed by Mzilikazi Khumalo, and featuring one of the world's leading mezzo-sopranos Sibongile Khumalo, this show is a feast of wonderful singing, exhilarating dancing, heart stopping drumming, stunning design and exquisite costumes.
