Sure Thing Fridays at The Dragon Room
Progressive house, electro and swing beatsat The Dragon Room
From the 31st of October 2007 to the 2nd of November 2007 the FNB Whiskey Live Festival once again makes its appearance in Cape Town.
This consumer whisky show aims to bring more appreciation of whisky by offering a truly unique educational insight into the wonders of whisky.
As usual the FNB Whisky Live Festival in Cape Town will be divided into two parts: The tasting hall and various whisky workshops.
If you have enough time during the whisky festival you should at least attend one whisky workshop and combine this with a tour of the tasting hall.
In the Tasting Hall you will have the opportunity to experience a great variety of whisky tastes and flavours from Scotland, America, Ireland and of course South Africa.
You’ll also meet whisky ambassadors and master distillers at various stalls and gain insight into their passion for this golden drink.
The Whisky Workshops has an international line-up of whisky presenters, including great personalities like French whisky and food writer Martine Nouet and master distiller Dave Hughes who will co-host whisky/food pairing workshops as well as the new Salitcrax Sensory Zone.
On arrival in the Tasting Hall you will be given a whisky tasting glass, a handbook with comprehensive tasting notes and tasting vouchers.
The workshops last for about an hour and you will get to taste approximately 6 different whiskies.
The FNB Whisky Live Festival also takes place in Johannesburg from the 7th to 9th of November 2007.
Find an incredible whisky selection in Cape Grace’s Bascule Bar in the V&A Waterfront. The Cape Grace luxury five star hotel even offers its own Whisky sommelier.
