There is plenty to choose from, because on average 200 artisans and craftspeople gather to put up stalls to display and sell their products. You're sure to find the perfect gift or souvenir from South Africa– don’t forget that many of the sellers will be happy to bargain with you.

A visit to this craft market in Cape Town isn't complete without a stop at one of the many food stalls, selling anything from traditional preserves and pastries, to boerewors rolls or freshly made vetkoek.
