Chris Williams started working as Assistant Winemaker for the farm since 1995 and was appointed Cellar Master at Meerlust in 2004.

Williams is energized by the challenge of developing the vines at Meerlust to their next stage of maturity, while isolating and identifying specific vineyards of excellence and vinifying the grapes to their highest expression.


Join Williams for “All about Cuvees” at the chef’s table in Gordon Ramsay’s maze restaurant on Wednesday 3 February.

Michelin-star chef Phil Carmichael will devise an elegant five-course course menu, paired with a selection of fine wines chosen by Williams to ensure the definitive culinary experience.
