An epic dance event that is sure to knock your textured socks off and at the same time raise money to fund ART

Dance away on two dance floors that will be serving up a deep desert mish-mash of Tankwa beats, funky tribal tech house, electro swing, dubstep and ragga flavoured jungle breaks, sixties girlpop and freakout and familiar electronic - all complements of Dj’s, Vuvu, Dusty, Fletcher, The Memory Pimp, The Earl Grey and the almighty Ray Mondo.

The Theme is TEXTURE: dress tactile; furry, fluffy, rubbery, slick, sequined, rough, polished, course, bumpy…. bust out that 80’s full lycra jazz suit, the uber meringue chiffon festival of a dress, the old armour that is sitting in your dress up box, the animal print, the silky nightgown, the frilly number you never wanted to wear as a kid, the old man netting vest. Anything tactile goes.

For your visual pleasure - still dusty from the desert - there will be sculptures, flaming giant Vuvuzelas, travelling fire sculptures, artists, Giant puppets, image trickery and visuals of previous burns.
