Look & Feel Good Expo

Has your get-up-and-go got up and left? Find your voomah at this year’s health and wellness exhibition

After a brief hiatus on the social calendar, the Look & Feel Good Expo makes a return to Cape Town’s list of annual must-do events. Hosted alongside the Outdoor Eco Adventure and Travel Expo at the Sandringham Farm in Stellenbosch from Friday, 25 until Sunday, 27 October 2013, the yearly health, fitness, beauty and wellness exhibition promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Since there’s no one-size-fits-all solution to looking and feeling good, the extravaganza features a range of products to suit all needs, a host of experts to give valuable advice and a handful of workshops and demonstrations perfect for perking up your routine. Whether you’re looking to kick-start your mornings, shed those winter kilos or simply maintain a healthy lifestyle, this expo has it all. Check out the latest in fitness and nutrition, learn about new organic and whole food trends, enjoy pamper sessions at a VIP lounge and more!

What to expect at the 2013 Look & Feel Good Expo Cape Town

Demos & Workshops: Inspire your lunch and dinner menu with healthy recipes from expert dieticians at the Pouyoukas Look & Feel Good Kitchen. Don’t miss Masterchef contestant and owner of the health-driven CBD eatery Pure Good Shannon Smuts, who will demonstrate just how simple it is to prepare delicious and wholesome meals in your very own kitchen. What’s more, the expo offers visitors a range of workshops and talks to attend that aim to enrich lives. Meet Shorty of Leon Schuster movie fame at the FREE laughter and happiness workshops and check out the inspirational yoga, pilates and martial arts instructors demonstrate their skills in the Move Studio.

VIP Treatment: Get pampered in one fell swoop when you purchase a VIP package (it costs R270p/p). VIP ticket holders can spoil themselves with one of the many The Hydro Spa beauty treatments on offer (and included in the ticket price), some revitalising refreshments and an ‘ifeelgoody’ bag filled with treats and gifts.

Shows: Check out the new generation of strong men and women at the Trojan Warrior show, and if you’re looking to spice up your exercise routine, the Get Active! Stage will showcase a line-up of live fitness, dance and movement performances. Not to mention, festival-goers can see the latest in fashion trends at the Miss Me Jeans Fashion Shows, where models will strut a range of denims, tops, blouses and belts designed to not only make you feel good, but to look good too!

Food & Drinks: Who says eating healthily is boring? The Feel Good Bar, sponsored by Kalk Bay Café and Organic at Heart, offers patrons a range of good-for-you fast foods, low-fat juices, smoothies, crushes and hot drinks.

Beauty & Wellness: Aside from the plethora of health, wellness and fitness products, the expo also offers a series of stalls aimed at helping you spruce up your look. Indulge your senses with a range of aromatherapy, natural skin and hair care solutions or educate yourself by learning about the various nutritional supplements, beauty and body products on the market. Not to mention, the Beauty Spot offers a range of services, like manicures and brow and lash tints, while the Cloud 9 Hair Zone offers great advice on the best environmentally friendly hair products and style inspiration to add some zest to your look; a nominal fee is charged for some of these services.
