Something has changed in me ….
Mr Fuzzy Slippers is proud to present his first solo exhibition “Something Has Changed In Me” which opens at the 38 Special Gallery on the 16th of September 2010.
The concept behind the exhibition is that of growth, time, inner conflict and its resolution. This line of works seeks to explore this subject through depicting inner growth or lack of it, by using plants and flowers. The characters in the works experience changes in their lives "as we do", and their own inner plant is shown at different stages of its growth.
Whether budding, dying or in full bloom, the plants serve as visual metaphors that track the characters progress through life. This line of work is the re-embodiment of the constant back and forth one goes through in life.
