Saturday Psyde Show ft. Bizzare Contact
A “Bizzare” encounter at Cape Town’s latest trance club
The Africa Centre is proud to present the Spier Contemporary 2010, the largest biennale art exhibition in South Africa.
This extraordinary exhibition provides South African artists or foreign artists living in the country with an open platform to create and show new work, which reflects both the breadth and depth of the South African experience.
Don’t miss the launch at Cape Town City Hall on the 14th March 2010, where it will be open until May 2010.
The Spier Contemporary exhibition has been conceived to provide an open platform for all artists to show their work, uncompromised by the limitations of technology, space and access.
Artists in South Africa work under extremely varied conditions and see from radically different perspectives. These differences are what define our collective identity and unique social and cultural landscape.
The Spier Contemporary provides a space for exploring our diversity, giving audiences insights into our complexity and thus contributing to our understanding of difference.
With 100 top artists you will be spoilt for choice.
