Expressions of Art exhibition is collaboration with local award-winning artist Chris Swift, and ten young artists from the Michaelis School of Art.
As part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of Nelson Mandela’s prison release, the V&A Waterfront - together with award-winning artist Chris Swift - will host the “Time on Our Hands” arts exhibition, focusing on the socio-political landscape in Cape Town.
This cultural and history-rich exhibition will feature works of art constructed from the original fencing material from Robben Island’s prison towers and will include a range of sculptures and pieces for art lovers to enjoy ‘in the making’.
