Way of the Warrior – Grand Finale

Grand Arena at GrandWest presents the greatest Muaythai event South Africa has ever seen! Mnet’s action hit reality series will be the ultimate proving ground for the warriors who will do battle in this epic grand finale and the top international fighters who will be fighting for both the world UMF Ultimate Champion title belt and The Muaythai Against Drugs title belt!

Special fights for the night:

• The Finale of “The Way of the Warrior” will take place between the last two remaining contestants battling it out to hold the Way of the Warrior title belt and be the 1st ‘Ultimate Warrior’!

• This epic fight will be accompanied with an international Thailand vs. Thailand fight, between the likes of Augusta and Teerapong “Mr Knockout”. This fight will be for the world UMF Ultimate Champion title belt, sanctioned by the World Muaythai Council. It will be the 1st time the belt is “up for grabs” and the first Thai vs. Thai fight in South Africa, making history in our country.

• Bakhulule “Diablo” Baai  - Dragon Power and South Africa’s very own African Qualifier for both The Contender Asia: Season 2 and the World Martial Arts Games - will be fighting for the vacant Muaythai Against Drugs title belt in an international bout against the challenger from Thailand, Petchwang “the Knee Specialist”.

• Madeleine “Madx” Ross (Currently one of the world’s best female Muaythai fighters) will also be competing.

• Ryan “Rauling Faulling” Faull, World IFMA Gold medalist and current 2 x South African Muaythai Cruiserweight title belt holder (SAMA).
