Saturday Psyde Show ft. Bizzare Contact
A “Bizzare” encounter at Cape Town’s latest trance club
In celebration of the release of our own Madiba - Nelson Mandela - from the Victor Verster prison 16 years ago, Freedom Hill Restaurant will host a colourful festival on 1st and 2nd May.
The Freedom Hill Festival will be a feast of dishes devised by master chef Adrian Buchanan, wines from neighboring wineries, a farmers market and a live band.
The medieval dinner on Saturday night is a highlight of the event, this to be a celebration of the abundance of life in historical tradition - think romance, action, and adventure, with plentiful hearty foods to include lamb on the spit, whole roasted chickens, venison potjie and warthog ribs.
Sunday will serve up a more traditional menu of potjie and spit, with relaxing live tunes.
Also available at the festival will be Tanzanian chef Bakari’s African delights, olive tastings, spiced oils, a selection of food bites and not to forget some entertainment for the young ones.
Price includes tastings and a glass.
