A “Bizzare” encounter at Cape Town’s latest trance club
RAMfest = Real Alternative Music Festival
It’s time once again to journey headlong into the crazy-wonderful world of RAMfest. After what was certainly one of the most memorable events in Cape Town in 2009, 2010 is set to be the Year of the Spectacular.
Audiomatik Events has secured a phenomenal line up, including Pendulum from Australia, Johnny Foreigner from the UK, and top SA acts including Fokofpolisiekar, Taxi Violence, Jack Parow and The Dirty Skirts.
RAMfest is also proud to present performances by much loved bands that have not performed in SA for a while: BOO!; Lark and The Narrow.
There has been a bit of a spruce up and spring clean and the furniture has been moved around a bit at Nekkies holiday Resort to create a smashing new site layout. When you get there, it should feel beautifully brand new and reassuringly familiar all at the same time.
RAMfest is South Africa's number 1 alternative music festival.
RAMfest unites artists and fans across all culture and generations, in an epic weekend festival of audio and riotous entertainment.
2010’s RAMfest will take it up a notch... with more bands, more stuff to do, more stages and more music you won’t find anywhere else.
Organisers of RAMfest want to give you a proper festival, get a collective vibe going. So bring you’re your own music instruments, party kit and toys and have the time of your life.
The Main Stage will feature the likes of BOO!, Lark, The Narrow and many more great artists. Metal 4 Africa Stage will feature the likes of Cold Hand Chemistry, Enmity, Pestroy and SacriFist, while the Electronic Stage which will bring you Yesterday's Pupil, Richard the 3rd and Moe Joe and many more.
There are also a lot more on offer this year like the Snow Café, which is a multimedia tented area offering various forms of entertainment. Drop in, relax and blow off some steam.
There are also two beer gardens, an entertainment area and the much anticipated new layout of the venue.
This one is not to be missed!
