Flowers in spring, whales in summer and wildlife all year
With soccer mania in the air, flights and accommodation might become a problem towards the run-up to the Soccer World Cup in early May 2010, so it is time to plan your visit to the 2010 SA Cheese Festival at Bien Donné from 24 to 27 April.
Make sure you do not miss out on the biggest and most sought after gourmet event of the year, the 9th SA Cheese Festival taking place under the auspices of Agri-Expo.
The 2010 SA Cheese Festival will once again provide all the aspects for a fun-filled day out in the country with family and friends.
There will be live music and ample seating under the big old oak trees, umbrellas and tents to relax and enjoy your day, different breeds of dairy animals in the Milk Factory, cheese, wine and related food products in the Checkers Cheese Emporium, Cheese Market, the Mall, the Gourmet Lane and the Diary Square as well as demos, fun and recipes of new ways to enjoy cheese in the Cooking Pot with celebrities like Nataniël.
At the 2010 SA Cheese Festival you will find not only cheese, but wine and fine food products complimenting the cheese. Not only will there be the biggest variety of cheese at one venue, but you will also have the opportunity to meet cheese makers from across the country, exhibiting their world class and artisan cheeses, as well as a large variety of other popular dairy products to take home.
So make this Cheese Festival one to remember!
No tickets will be sold at the gate and a R10 fee for a wine tasting glass will be on sale.
