Santa visits the Mother City to see what Joy from Africa’s all about
Roll up your sleeves… or rather roll up your trousers in this case and stomp some grapes for award-winning wine at the annual Harvest at Dusk Festival at Nederburg in Paarl. This bountiful feast takes place on Saturday, 17 February 2018 with most of the action taking place around and after sunset.
Get ready for an action-packed event, which starts with a complimentary glass of Nederburg’s refreshing Cuvée Brut upon arrival. In addition to the grape stomping, there will be opportunities to taste all the different grape varieties, before it becomes wine.
Once everyone is sufficiently tired from all the stomping, the highlight of the festival commences – the harvest feast. You can look forward to a scrumptious family feast prepared by chef Edmore Ruzoza of Nederburg’s The Red Table restaurant, with delights like farm-fresh salads and veggies, crispy pork belly, grilled sirloin steak and more on the menu.
Make sure to purchase some of your favourite Nederburg wines to take home with you. If you don’t feel like lugging it around on the evening, your purchases can also be couriered to you at a more convenient time.
