South Africa’s top Afrikaans performers will share the stage at the Bakgat Somer Opskop on Saturday, 4th December at the GrandWest Grand Arena in Cape Town.

The star-studded line up includes Steve Hofmeyr, Arno Jordaan, Snotkop, DJ Ossewa, Emo Adams, Kurt Darren, Wynand en Cheree and Andries Vermeulen.

Steve Hofmeyr: Versatile singer, songwriter and actor, Steve is one of the country’s most successful local artists and he has also gained international success.

Arno Jordaan: Talented young singer Arno Jordaan was first discovered on Kyk-Net’s Zing programme.

Snotkop: Francois Henning is better known as Snotkop.

DJ Ossewa: The members of DJ Ossewa put on an energetic show with fast paced music and dance moves.

Emo Adams: Talented singer, dancer and actor Emo Adams got his first break in the David Kramer and Taliep Petersen production District 6.

Kurt Darren: Kurt Darren skyrocketed to fame with his number one hit Meisie-Meisie.

Wynand Strydom en Chereé Large: Wynand and his fiancé Chereé regularly entertain fans with duets in live performances and on several television programmes.

Andries Vermeulen: Andries Vermeulen displays a sense of humour as salty as the west coast where he hails from.
