Indulge yourself at Backsberg with a luscious lunch or live music with KykNET's Picnic Concerts this Sunday in Paarl

Looking to spend a Sunday afternoon enjoying a lovely picnic, stretched out in breathtaking gardens while listening to the the very best of the SA music scene?

The kykNet Backsberg Picnic Concert series is just that. Backsberg will  be featuring a different musician every Sunday from the 29th November – 31 January.

The concerts start at 17:00, so do come early to experience their famous Sunday Lunch.

The line up includes a variety of famed South African artists, with something to satisfy everyone:

03 Jan - Robin Auld

Picnics and wine will be on sale at the estate, but feel free to bring your own picnic along. Picnics are available at R50p/p.

Tickets are R85 pre-booked (available through Computicket) or R100.00 at the gate. Children under 12 get in for free.

The Backsberg Wine Estate is a highly recommended option for a delicious Sunday lunch, which they have become well-known for.

There is a 3-course set menu Sunday Lunch Menu on offer, which consists a starter, Lamb on the Spit with chef Linda's famous roast potatoes, and a buffet of salads and summer vegetables, finished off with dessert.

The mellow sounds of guitarist Guy Feldman will form the perfect accompaniment to your lunch in the Cape Winelands. Backsberg does cater for vegetarians as well if you let them know in advance.
