World Aids Day Charity Benefit

The SA Medical and Education Foundation Fashion & Art Charity Benefit in association with Gavin Rajah

The theme for 2010 International World Aids Day is Universal Access and Human Rights. On Wednesday 1st December 2010, Gavin Rajah will be unveiling his exclusive summer couture collection and six of his dresses will be auctioned off on the night.

‘Aids Art ‘ - donated by  artists from the Lisa King Gallery and State of the Art in South Africa - will be auctioned off by silent auction during the evening. All proceeds raised from this event will go to SA Medical, in order to assist them in fulfilling their dream of creating quality health care to everyone by building HIV clinics in and around South Africa.

The entertainment includes James Stewart welcoming you to this designer event with his lyrical unplugged style, one of Cape Town’s finest Jazz bands Magic Carpet Ride will perform, while a selection of delectable canapés to tantalize your taste buds and satisfy your appetite is served.

Once the show is over, DJ Tariq will get the party rocking as we celebrate the funds raised throughout the night.
