46664 It’s No Joke in Cape Town
The show is the biggest comedy production ever created for a live stage in South Africa and should not be missed
46664 It’s No Joke will be staged at the Grand Arena at Grand West Casino Complex in Cape Town on Sunday 1 August 2010.
Due to the overwhelming success of the show at Sun City and at the Sandton Convention Centre, Real Concerts are happy to announce that this hugely successful show is now coming to Cape Town, proudly supported by GrandWest CSI.
The slick, funny MC of the last three events, Darren “Whackhead” Simpson, will once again take to the stage with South Africa’s top ten comedians to support the 46664 campaign. On the line up will be Barry Hilton, Chris Forrest, David Kau, John Vlismas, Marc Lottering, Ndumiso Lindi, Nik Rabinowitz, Riaad Moosa, Trevor Noah and Tumi Morake.
The 46664 campaign takes its name from Mr. Mandela’s Robben Island prison number. He was prisoner number 466, incarcerated in 1964. Inspired by the vision and leadership of Nelson Mandela, the 46664 campaign initially focused on generating global awareness of HIV AIDS through the staging of international concerts and sporting events throughout the world.
46664 has now widened its focus to support the broader humanitarian work of the Nelson Mandela charitable organizations.
